Overview
Your Point account can be linked to payment apps like Apple Pay, Venmo, and Cash App.
Transactions made within payment apps are not eligible to receive points. For information on which transactions you will receive points on, please see our support article regarding what transactions are not rewarded points.
Point is integrated directly with Plaid, creating a fast and simple way for you to link your bank account to other financial services.
Please Note: when linking your Point account via Plaid, the bank name will show up as Column N.A., Point's partner institution.
Venmo
Sending Payments
Transactions on Venmo can be funded from Point using your PointCard as a funding source or via ACH transfer.
- Open your Venmo app
- Go to
SETTINGS
->PAYMENT METHODS

INSTANT VERIFICATION
- In the Plaid portal, search for
POINT
and sign in using your Point account email and password. - Complete all the steps to instantly link your account.

screen, input the appropriate PointCard information.

Cashouts
When transferring funds from Venmo to Point, you can transfer funds without a fee. This typically takes 1–3 business days as noted in the screenshot below.
If you would like to use the Instant Transfer feature in Venmo for a 1% fee, select your PointCard from the list of available options in the TRANSFER TO
section.
Apple Pay
Add PointCard to Apple Pay
To take full advantage of Apple Pay for debit transactions, you should add your physical card information, as there is no PIN associated with your virtual card.
- In Point App, select the
icon at the bottom to access the
CARDS
section.- Select your Physical Card and then toggle the
SHOW CARD DETAILS
switch to view the full card number, then select the card number for about 3 seconds to copy the card number.

- Open the Wallet app.
- Select in

in the upper right corner. - Select
CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD
and selectCONTINUE

ENTER CARD DETAILS MANUALLY
, then paste your PointCard information in theCARD NUMBER
field. - You will be asked to verify your Point account via email or phone call. Once this verification is complete, your PointCard will be linked to Apple Pay.
Add Bank Account to Apple Cash
Apple does not currently support Instant Transfers with PointCard. For funds transfers from Apple Wallet or for Apple Cash payments, please follow the steps below to add your Point account.
- Open the Wallet app.
- Select the Cash card.
- Select the

icon in the top-right corner - From the Apple Cash screen, select
BANK ACCOUNT
. - Enter your routing and account numbers, which you can find in Point App.

Add PointCard to Cash App
To take full advantage of Apple Pay for debit transactions, you should add your physical card information, as there is no PIN associated with your virtual card.
- On the Cash App home screen, tap on your user photo, which is located on the far-top right corner of your screen.
- Select

+ Link Debit Card
. - Enter your Debit Card details. Then select Add Card.

Please note: You can only link one account to Cash App at a time.
To link your Point account to the Cash App, follow the steps below. If you have another account connected, you will need to remove the connected account, then link Point by following the steps below.
